Outdoor Landscape Photography Workshops throughout the Morocco

“Use the camera as an excuse to meet people and discover a new reality”
In this photographic and tourist creation workshop, the objective is to generate learning processes around photography and visual narrative, exploring elements and techniques of photography, composition, use of light and portraiture, as well as reflections on photography as a tool to approach a new reality and meet new people. During the 10 days of the workshop, each student will make a photo report that can then be published on a blog or any web platform.
BIOGRAPHY
David Diaz Arcos Ecuadorian visual storyteller. He is a member of The Everyday Projects and the Earth
Journalism Network.
He has worked in several
state programs and NGOs as an
educator through workshops and producer of photographic and audiovisual
content focused on Edu-Communication, Human Rights, and Territory.
David has staff photographers for Bloomberg News for Latin America
and
has worked for campaigns for UNHCR,
the
UN Refugee Agency, Amnesty International Sverige, and
Internews.
His work has been published in National Geographic, Washington Post, BBC News, Getty Images, El País, Amnesty Press, G1Global News, Visão Magazine, Clarín, Bistandsaktuelt, DulceEquisNegra Magazine, El Salto Diario among others.

- Tripod (not required), flashligth (not required)
- Laptop with digital photo development software (Photoshop, Lightroom)

•Having the opportunity to see the largest functioning mosque in Africa and is the 7th largest in the world. Its minaret is the world's second tallest minaret at 210 metres (689 ft). Completed in 1993, it was designed by Michel Pinseau under the guidance of King Hassan II and built by Moroccan artisans from all over the kingdom.

This photography tour to Morocco has been specially curated to make sure we are photographing in the best light possible. You will learn about the best time of day to photograph and how to overcome challenging lighting situations. Relaxing when the light is harsh and shooing when the light is good.
